Client Stories: Project Management & Master Planning
St Columbia Anglican School - SCAS
BAPM has had a long relationship with Columbia Anglican School helping to build the vision that has made the school amenities so outstanding in our Mid North Coast Community. You can read about how proud SCAS is of their facilities on their website here.
Early in 2004, BAPM was brought into St Columbia to project manage design, authority approvals, preparation of the tender, awarding the contract and administering construction of the Central Staff and Cafeteria buildings. That project spanned 2 years and was stage 6 of a construction program that is currently at stage 13. BAPM has been involved in a similar capacity in every stage since; reflecting our desire to provide long term value to our clients.
After this first project BAPM was instrumental in instigating a Master Plan for future stages which would provide a foundation for an integrated design over the longer term that would be more efficient; saving money and time and streamlining the approvals process.
This master plan also prepared SCAS to quickly take advantage of grant money that would become available.
From the primary, junior and senior classrooms, the chapel building, the multipurpose hall which involved documentation to fulfill and manage grant requirements, the senior studies centre, the training centre, the day care annex and finally to the performing arts centre that sets SCAS apart as a school that ‘cherishes and encourages’ the arts, BAPM is proud to be on this incredible journey with St Columba.
As St Columba ‘believes that education is about recognising and realising a student's potential and providing a safe community’, we believe the facilities at SCAS are integral to them fulfilling that mission and that our contribution has saved them time and money with minimal disruption.
